It was a slow but calculated move with roving eyes and racing thoughts he approached her the youngest and most beautiful girl in the class thus a perfect prey.
A seductive smile, a caring heart with questionable motive meets a pure smile and a genuine interest that's how the friendship started. he was all she could ever dream of, a total package, a caring friend, a gentle lover, an intelligent course-mate, a responsible young man infact a spiritual fellow, she had been in love once but not as lively and responsive as this was, the whole class could tell from the way he looked at her that he loved her but her inner circle of friends knew that he couldn't be trusted because truth tells itself.
They became so close and intimacy raised it's ugly head at first it was a sin because she had a boyfriend and this other guy didn't want a relationship but soon it became a norm because he was very attentive and ever present, qualities that her boyfriend never showed even if he had them, being a good girl and feeling guilty she had to end her relationship with her boyfriend thought she knwe this other guy couldn't be trusted with her heart because he didn't have marriage in mind and he had a lot of girls at his fingertips, stubbornly she refused to give in to sex and thank God for her else she would have been ruthlessly slaughtered and shattered to find out 2 months after living like couples that the girl he said he never asked out is now his girlfriend.
Now she is broken-hearted literally because God in His infinite mercies and unconditional love for her answered her prayers and showed her that this is not her final stop. Picking up the pieces of her heart she moves on learning not a believe any guy and to enter any relationship with her head. The question remains thus; did the guy ever really love her?
Just in case you are wondering it's a true life story!!!
